Funeral homes will now have the ability to showcase their products and services using a virtual showroom, create one-click contracts with their families, take payments in person and remotely, and automate the accounting and collections process. The Gather team is excited to attend this year’s NFDA convention to demo this new functionality.
The highly anticipated feature release allows funeral homes to automate the funeral contract creation process, which increases accuracy, saves time and automates all of the accounting and collections for the funeral home. They are excited to share what they have been working on quietly for the past few years.
In addition to Gather’s full case management platform, this new feature allows the funeral home to have their entire GPL and product list in digital format, creating their own personal showroom. This makes it easy to showcase packages, products and services with families during the arrangement conference. Gather has invented a simple way for funeral homes to create what they’re calling a “one-click” contract. Funeral Directors will now be able to navigate their families through their digital showroom to select products and services, print the contract, and collect signatures. A lot of hard work went into building this, and it was accomplished with direct feedback from countless funeral homes who all wanted a better way to showcase their products, improve their contract creation and revision process, and automate the backend accounting and collection process.
